English Path's Heartwarming Christmas: A Season of Solidarity and Charity

As the curtains close on the festive season that has just ended, we look back at the heartwarming initiatives undertaken by English Path, a renowned educational institution with campuses in various destinations worldwide.

Throughout the past Christmas season, English Path embodied the true spirit of the holidays through a series of charitable initiatives that brought joy and support to various communities.

One of the standout initiatives was the creation of collection boxes across all campuses. During the festive season, students and staff generously contributed long-life foods and toiletries, fostering a sense of community and collective giving. The collection drive continued until the end of the term, and all items collected were donated to various food banks and organisations supporting low-income families. This initiative served as a sincere thank-you to the local communities that have played a pivotal role in shaping the English Path experience.

In a heart-warming collaboration, English Path and GBS Malta joined forces to support children affected by cancer through the "Puttinu Cares" Foundation. This joint effort not only represented a small gesture of solidarity but also served as an educational experience for the students involved. The initiative helped them understand the complexity of health issues, particularly those faced by children with cancer, and emphasised the critical role that research plays in finding solutions to these challenges.

Further extending their commitment to community welfare, English Path and GBS Malta partnered with the St. Paul’s Bay Local Council to organise a Community Cleanup event during the past festive season. This event went beyond charity; it was an opportunity for English Path to actively contribute to the well-being of the community and set a positive example for their campuses abroad. By engaging students in such initiatives, English Path instilled a sense of responsibility and emphasised the importance of environmental stewardship.

In the past October, English Path and GBS Malta took part in a breast cancer awareness campaign. Students, teachers, and staff joined forces to highlight the significance of early diagnosis and to encourage donations for breast cancer research. The initiative culminated on October 12th, with participants donning pink accessories or clothing—a small yet meaningful gesture symbolising collective support for this critical cause that affects thousands of women worldwide.

English Path's commitment to solidarity and charity throughout the past festive season, underscored the institution's dedication to fostering a sense of social responsibility among its students and staff. These initiatives not only made a positive impact on the communities they served but also contributed to creating well-rounded, compassionate individuals who understand the importance of giving back. As we reflect on the past Christmas season, English Path's Christmas charity events stand as a testament to the power of collective goodwill and the true spirit of the holidays.
